1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Mythic Earth website and its related account, community, support and communication services.
Mythic Earth is operated by:

• support requests;
• official staff-user conversations;
• notifications;

• public roadmaps, news, development updates and Patch Notes;
• testing applications, invitations and restricted content where available; and
• other Mythic Earth website features introduced from time to time.
Separate rules, policies or agreements may also apply to particular features, testing programs, game builds, purchases or community activities.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise indicating acceptance of these Terms, you agree to be bound by:
• these Terms of Service;
• the Privacy Policy;
• the Community Guidelines, once published;
• the Issue Council Rules, once published; and
• any additional rules or agreements clearly presented for a particular feature or testing program.
If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use account-only services.
You may access ordinary public information that does not require an account, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
The website records the version of the Terms accepted by each registered user and the date and time of acceptance.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.
Minimum account age:

If you are below the age at which you may independently enter this agreement in your location, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.
You must not create an account if:
• you are prohibited from using the services under applicable law;

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
To use account-only services, you must create and verify an account.
You agree to:
• provide accurate information where required;
• use an email address that you are authorised to access;
• maintain control of your account credentials;
• keep your email address current;
• promptly notify Mythic Earth if you suspect unauthorised access;
• follow account-verification and security procedures; and
• use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
Usernames are permanent unless changed through an authorised Mythic Earth process.
Display names, avatars, biographies and other profile information remain subject to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
Mythic Earth may refuse, reserve, change or remove a username or display name where reasonably necessary, including where it:
• impersonates another person or organisation;
• infringes intellectual-property rights;
• contains prohibited or abusive material;
• creates confusion with Mythic Earth staff or official services;
• exposes personal or security information; or
• violates applicable rules or law.
5. ACCOUNT SECURITY
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your account.
You must not:
• share your password or authentication credentials;
• disclose password-reset links, recovery codes or session tokens;
• knowingly permit another person to use your account;
• access another person’s account without permission;
• bypass authentication or security controls;
• interfere with account verification or recovery systems; or
• use automated methods to test, scrape or attack sign-in systems.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless that activity occurred because of a failure for which Mythic Earth is legally responsible.
Mythic Earth may:
• require email verification;
• require a password reset;
• revoke active sessions;
• temporarily restrict access;
• request additional identity verification; or
• take other proportionate security measures where account compromise or abuse is suspected.
6. PUBLIC PROFILES
Registered users may be able to create a public profile containing information such as:
• username;
• display name;
• avatar;
• biography;
• general location;
• website link;
• public Issue Council activity; and
• other optional profile information.
You control certain visibility settings through the account Privacy page.
You must not place the following in a public profile:
• passwords or authentication secrets;
• another person’s private information without permission;
• unlawful, threatening, abusive or exploitative material;
• malicious links or software;
• misleading claims of official status;
• material that infringes another person’s rights; or
• content prohibited by the Community Guidelines.
Changing profile visibility does not automatically make separately published Issue Council reports or comments private.
7. ISSUE COUNCIL
The Issue Council allows users to report, discuss and confirm game or website issues.
When using the Issue Council, you agree to:
• submit reports in good faith;
• provide accurate and useful information;
• search for existing reports where practical;
• avoid knowingly creating unnecessary duplicates;
• use appropriate titles and descriptions;
• provide reproduction steps where available;
• select the most accurate affected build or version available;
• avoid including passwords, private keys or sensitive personal information;
• follow staff requests for relevant additional information; and
• comply with the Issue Council Rules.
Reports may be:
• public;
• private;
• restricted by build, testing group or staff role;
• merged with or marked as duplicates of another report;
• reassigned;
• reprioritised;
• edited for formatting, security or privacy reasons;
• locked;
• archived;
• closed; or
• removed where reasonably necessary.
A report’s status, priority, target build or resolution does not guarantee that a particular change will be made or released.
Issue Council confirmations, votes, comments and popularity do not create a binding obligation to implement a requested feature or fix.
Private reports, restricted testing information, staff notes and confidential evidence must not be copied or disclosed without authorisation.
8. SUPPORT AND OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS
Users may contact Mythic Earth through the support system for matters including:
• account help;
• website problems;
• privacy;
• copyright;
• press;
• business enquiries;
• general enquiries; and
• enforcement appeals where available.
Support requests and official staff-user conversations are private between the user and authorised Mythic Earth personnel, except where disclosure is reasonably required to investigate the matter, comply with law or protect the service and its users.
You agree not to misuse support services by:
• submitting knowingly false claims;
• threatening or abusing staff;
• sending spam or repeated duplicate requests;
• using support to evade enforcement;
• disclosing passwords or recovery secrets;
• impersonating another person; or
• attempting to obtain another user’s private information.
Mythic Earth may assign, reassign, prioritise, merge, resolve, close or retain support requests as reasonably required.
An official staff message is not user-to-user private messaging.
9. USER CONTENT
“User Content” means material submitted by a user through the services, including:
• profile text and avatars;
• Issue Council reports and comments;
• screenshots and evidence;
• support messages;
• appeal submissions;
• feedback;
• survey responses; and
• other material uploaded or submitted by a user.
You retain any ownership rights that you legally hold in your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Mythic Earth a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, communicate and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to:
• operate the services;
• display public content;
• investigate and manage reports;
• provide support;
• moderate the service;
• maintain backups and records;
• develop and improve Mythic Earth;
• protect legal and security interests; and
• comply with applicable law.
This licence continues for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Where User Content is deleted or an account is closed, residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, audit records, security records or other retained systems as described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that:
• you have the right to submit the User Content;
• its submission does not knowingly violate another person’s rights;
• it does not contain unlawful material; and
• it complies with these Terms and applicable rules.
10. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You must not use the services to:
• break applicable law;
• harass, threaten, stalk or abuse another person;
• publish unlawful discriminatory or hateful material;
• exploit or endanger a child;
• distribute intimate material without consent;
• encourage violence, terrorism or serious criminal conduct;
• impersonate another user, staff member or organisation;
• infringe copyright, trade marks or other rights;
• distribute malware, phishing links or harmful code;
• obtain or disclose passwords, tokens or private account information;
• evade suspensions, bans, restrictions or rate limits;
• create accounts for spam, fraud or manipulation;
• manipulate confirmations, voting or report statistics;
• scrape, crawl or harvest data without written authorisation;
• reverse engineer or probe private website systems except where legally permitted;
• interfere with hosting, email, databases, queues or security systems;
• overload the service or conduct denial-of-service activity;
• access restricted content, builds or reports without permission;
• disclose confidential testing or staff-only information;
• sell, transfer or commercially exploit an account without permission; or
• assist another person to do any of the above.
11. COMMUNITY MODERATION
Mythic Earth may take proportionate action where it reasonably believes these Terms, the Community Guidelines, Issue Council Rules or applicable law have been violated.
Actions may include:
• content removal or editing;
• warnings;
• discussion locking;
• Issue Council restrictions;
• comment restrictions;
• session revocation;
• mandatory password reset;
• temporary suspension;
• account deactivation;
• permanent ban;
• removal from testing programs;
• revocation of roles or permissions;
• restriction of access to builds or private content; and
• referral to law enforcement or another authority where appropriate.
When deciding what action to take, Mythic Earth may consider:
• seriousness;
• context;
• intent;
• harm;
• previous conduct;
• repeated behaviour;
• account security;
• cooperation;
• legal obligations; and
• risks to users or the service.
Mythic Earth may take urgent action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to address security, unlawful conduct, immediate harm or serious service disruption.
Where appropriate, the affected user may receive:
• a reason for the action;
• the duration of the action;
• information about available review or appeal options; and
• an official message or email.
12. APPEALS
Suspended or banned users may have access to a controlled enforcement-appeal process.
An appeal:
• must be submitted honestly;
• must explain why the decision should be reviewed;
• must not contain threats, abuse or false information;
• may be limited to one active appeal for an enforcement action;
• may be subject to rate limits or cooldown periods; and
• does not automatically suspend or reverse the original decision.
A successful appeal decision does not automatically restore an account unless an authorised staff member separately performs the required account-status action.
Appeal outcomes may include:
• granted;
• declined;
• closed without determination where the request is abusive, duplicate or outside scope; or
• a request for additional information.
13. TESTING, BUILDS AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
Mythic Earth may offer access to private or restricted testing programs, game builds, roadmaps, reports or development information.
Access may depend on:
• account status;
• roles or groups;
• invitations;
• testing cohorts;
• confidentiality obligations;
• geographic or technical requirements;
• availability; and
• acceptance of additional testing terms.
You must not:
• share restricted download links;
• give another person access to a private build;
• publish confidential testing information;
• disclose private Issue Council reports;
• bypass entitlement checks;
• distribute game files without permission; or
• represent unfinished builds as final products.
Restricted access may be changed or revoked at any time where reasonably necessary.
Testing services may be incomplete, unstable, unavailable, reset or discontinued.
Separate nondisclosure, testing or licence agreements may apply.
14. NEWS, ROADMAPS AND DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION
Mythic Earth may publish:
• news;
• announcements;
• development updates;
• roadmaps;
• Patch Notes;
• build information;
• milestones;
• screenshots;
• videos; and
• estimates relating to future features or releases.
Development plans may change.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a binding written agreement:
• roadmap items are development intentions, not promises;
• dates and estimates are not guaranteed;
• features may be changed, delayed, replaced or cancelled;
• screenshots and concept material may not represent final content;
• test builds may differ from released versions; and
• publication of information does not create an obligation to release a product or feature.
Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except for User Content and third-party material, Mythic Earth and its licensors own or control the website and its contents, including:
• the Mythic Earth name and branding;
• logos;
• artwork;
• characters;
• lore;
• written material;
• website design;
• code;
• databases;
• audiovisual material;
• game concepts;
• software;
• documentation; and
• other intellectual property.
You may access and use the services only for their intended personal or authorised purposes.
Unless permitted by law or written permission, you must not:
• reproduce;
• republish;
• sell;
• licence;
• distribute;
• commercially exploit;
• remove ownership notices from;
• create misleading derivative works from; or
• claim ownership of Mythic Earth material.
You may link to publicly accessible pages provided the link is lawful, accurate and does not falsely imply endorsement.
16. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS
If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright or another intellectual-property right, contact Mythic Earth through the Copyright category in Contact Support.
A complaint should include:
• identification of the protected work;
• identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;
• an explanation of the complainant’s rights or authority;
• contact information;
• a statement that the complaint is made in good faith; and
• any other information reasonably required to investigate it.
Mythic Earth may remove or restrict disputed material while investigating.
Knowingly false or abusive infringement complaints may result in account action and may carry legal consequences.
17. NEWSLETTERS AND EMAIL
Users may voluntarily subscribe to newsletters and development communications.
Users may unsubscribe using the available account controls or links included in newsletter messages.
Mythic Earth may still send non-promotional messages reasonably required to operate or protect the service, including:
• verification;
• password recovery;
• account security;
• legal updates;
• support replies;
• enforcement notices;
• deletion and export messages; and
• other essential account communications.
You must not interfere with email confirmation, suppression, bounce or unsubscribe systems.
18. PRIVACY
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Mythic Earth Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains:
• what information is collected;
• how it is used;
• when it may be disclosed;
• security and retention practices;
• public-profile and Issue Council visibility;
• data export;
• account deactivation and deletion; and
• how to make a privacy enquiry or complaint.
You must not use the services to collect, expose or misuse another person’s personal information.
19. ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION
An eligible user may voluntarily deactivate their account using the account-closure controls.
Voluntary deactivation:
• makes the account unavailable;
• ends active sessions;
• hides the public profile;
• prevents ordinary account participation;
• retains account records and User Content; and
• may be reversed through the authorised reactivation process.
Voluntary reactivation cannot be used to bypass:
• suspension;
• ban;
• staff deactivation;
• mandatory password reset; or
• other staff-imposed restrictions.
20. PERMANENT ACCOUNT DELETION
An eligible user may request permanent account deletion.
The current process includes a 30-day grace period.
During the grace period:
• the account is unavailable;
• active sessions are revoked;
• the user may cancel the request through the required verification process; and
• permanent processing has not yet occurred.
After permanent processing:
• self-service restoration is unavailable;
• direct account identity is removed or anonymised;
• credentials and sessions are invalidated;
• public profile information is removed; and
• certain legal, security, moderation, support, fraud-prevention and audit records may be retained.
Deletion does not necessarily remove public or operational records where retention is reasonably required to protect other users, preserve report or support history, comply with law or maintain security and audit integrity.
21. ACCOUNT DATA EXPORTS
Eligible users may request a private export of specified account data.
Exports:
• require password confirmation;
• are generated through a private process;
• are available only for a limited period;
• require an authenticated matching account;
• may exclude restricted internal information;
• do not include passwords or authentication secrets;
• do not include other users’ private information; and
• may contain structured data rather than copies of uploaded binary files.
Mythic Earth may limit repeated requests to protect service capacity and security.
22. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES TO THE SERVICES
Mythic Earth may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or part of the services where reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include:
• maintenance;
• security;
• legal obligations;
• technical limitations;
• hosting changes;
• abuse prevention;
• development priorities;
• lack of demand; or
• circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Mythic Earth does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Where practical, planned maintenance or significant service changes may be announced through the website, email, notifications or service-status tools.
23. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The services may contain links to or rely on third-party services, such as:
• website hosting;
• email delivery;
• social platforms;
• video platforms;
• game platforms;
• external websites; and
• technical service providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
A link does not necessarily mean that Mythic Earth endorses or controls the linked service.
Mythic Earth is not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by law.
24. FUTURE PURCHASES AND PAID SERVICES
At the date of this draft, these Terms primarily govern the website and its account and community services.
If Mythic Earth later offers:
• game purchases;
• downloadable products;
• subscriptions;
• cosmetics;
• merchandise;
• event tickets;
• paid services; or
• other transactions,
additional sale, licence, refund, platform or purchase terms may apply.
Those additional terms will be presented before the relevant transaction where required.
Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees, refund rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
25. DISCLAIMERS
The website and development services may include unfinished, experimental or pre-release material.
To the extent permitted by law:
• information is provided for general information and development communication;
• test features may contain errors or experience interruptions;
• development plans may change;
• user-submitted information may not be accurate;
• third-party links and services may change without notice; and
• users are responsible for maintaining their own compatible devices, browsers and internet access.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
26. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mythic Earth is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the services where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable or was not caused by a failure for which Mythic Earth is legally responsible.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, Mythic Earth’s liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
• fraud;
• wilful misconduct;
• death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot be excluded;
• breach of a non-excludable consumer guarantee; or
• any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
This section must be reviewed by an Australian legal practitioner before publication.
27. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss directly caused by your unlawful use of the services, deliberate breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.
You are not responsible for loss to the extent that it was caused by Mythic Earth, another person, circumstances outside your reasonable control, or a matter for which responsibility cannot lawfully be imposed on you.
Mythic Earth will not seek an indemnity that would be unfair or unlawful under applicable consumer law.
This section must be reviewed by an Australian legal practitioner before publication.
28. TERMINATION
You may stop using the services at any time.
You may also use available account deactivation or deletion controls.
Mythic Earth may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
• a material or repeated breach of these Terms;
• unlawful conduct;
• fraud or security risk;
• serious harm to users or the service;
• a legal requirement;
• loss of the right or technical ability to provide the service; or
• permanent discontinuation of the relevant service.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, Mythic Earth will provide notice and information about available review or appeal options.
Sections that reasonably need to continue after termination remain effective, including sections concerning intellectual property, retained records, privacy, enforcement history, liability and dispute resolution.
29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These Terms are version controlled.
A new version may include:
• a new version number;
• publication and effective dates;
• a summary of changes;
• a record of whether renewed acceptance is required; and
• an archived copy of the previous version.
Minor changes may take effect upon publication where permitted by law.
Material changes may require existing users to review and accept the new version before continuing to use relevant account services.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or impose obligations where doing so would be unlawful or unfair.
30. NOTICES
Mythic Earth may provide notices through:
• the website;
• the Notification Centre;
• account pages;
• email;
• support or official-message threads; or
• another reasonable communication method associated with the service.
You are responsible for keeping your registered email address current.
A notice is considered received when delivered through the relevant service, subject to applicable law and evidence of delivery.
31. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of:

and the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The parties submit to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction in that location, except where applicable consumer law gives a user the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

32. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a concern about the services, please contact Mythic Earth through Contact Support first so that the matter can be investigated.
The parties should attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith.
This does not prevent either party from:
• seeking urgent relief;
• contacting a regulator;
• using a consumer-protection process;
• making a privacy complaint;
• reporting unlawful conduct; or
• exercising another legal right.
33. GENERAL TERMS
If part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue to operate where legally possible.
A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not permanently waive the right to enforce it.
You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without written permission.
Mythic Earth may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a genuine business sale, restructure or transfer, provided this does not unlawfully reduce users’ rights.
Headings are included for convenience and do not limit the meaning of a provision.
