Resetting a forgotten password

1. Open Password Recovery from the Sign In page.
2. Enter the verified email address or public username.
3. Submit the form.
4. Open the one-time reset link delivered to the registered email address.
5. Choose a new strong password.

For privacy, the request page gives the same response whether or not a matching account exists. Reset links are private, time limited and should never be shared.

A successful password reset ends existing account sessions so that old browser access cannot continue.
